THE 6th ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION HALAL EXPO AND 2018 WORLD HALAL SUMMIT IS HEADED TO ISTANBUL
In association with The Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT) and The Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), the 6th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Halal Expo and World Halal Summit 2018 will take place at the Eurasia Show and Art Center in Istanbul from November 29 – December 2. Organized by Discover Events in conjunction with The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, this will be the world’s largest Halal event.
Last year’s event brought together more than 100 speakers from more than 72 countries along with 29,800 attendees. This year is estimated to bring more than 40,000 attendees and more than 300 local and international exhibitors in halal production and services. A new Hosted Buyer Program will also be organized to set up local and international buyers in new business opportunities.
This year’s World Halal Summit will be themed “Halal and Healthy Life: Awareness and Sustainability,” and presents a unique opportunity for experts, business executives and delegations from all over the world to support and connect with other halal producers. Attendees representing a wide range of industries from food and beverage, finance, cosmetics, modest fashion, manufacturing, tourism and more, come together to discuss significant issues related to Halal.
