LAS VEGAS – (Oct. 8, 2019) – The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will count down to 2020 with festive dinners at BLVD & MAIN Taphouse, Crafted Buffet, 107 SkyLounge and the award-winning Top of the World restaurant; as well as a countdown celebration with 108 Party in the Sky on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
108 Party in the Sky will be held from 9:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. on The STRAT’s stylish Observation Deck. Set to a festive party mix, 108 Party in the Sky will include a premium bar and martini bar, a dessert station, and performances by DJ Godzilla and DJ Mickey. A countdown at midnight will include a champagne toast, along with magnificent views of the fireworks displays throughout the Las Vegas Valley and on the Strip. Top of the World will offer a decadent dinner set to 360-degree rotating views from more than 800 feet high. Chef Robert Lomeli has developed an à la carte menu that includes wild mushroom and truffle cappuccino, served with white truffle foam and black truffle dust; surf and turf, a 10-ounce filet mignon, sautéed shrimp and potato puree; and Scottish salmon, served with sautéed shrimp and potato puree, pan roasted scallops, cauliflower vichyssoise and chimichurri. Dessert options include champagne mousse cake, served with a French macaron, and strawberries and chocolate lava cake, made with a chocolate ganache center and served with Madagascar vanilla bean Chantilly cream. The prix fixe dinner will be priced at $299 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Pre-fireworks seating will be from 4 until 8 p.m. with the option to choose from the regular dinner menu or the holiday a la carte menu with a $125 food and beverage minimum per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Located on the second floor of Top of the World, 107 SkyLounge will host a celebration from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. with appetizers and party mixes by DJ CC and DJ Stephi K. Selections include a cheese board with truffle gouda, saint André Brie, Manchego, Spice Marcona almonds, seasonal fruit, and local honey; Wagyu beef arancini served with pomodoro and parmigiano; Tuna tartare served with Fresno chili gastrique, ginger, scallions, tamari soy, potatoes gaufrette and sesame seeds; and lollipop chicken wings, served with spiced sweet Chile sauce. Johannes Bernau, executive chef at BLVD & MAIN Taphouse, has prepared a three-course prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve priced at $35 per person. The dinner includes a pear and goat cheese salad, made with mixed greens, fresh cucumber, ripe tomato and pickled carrot; a 12-ounce choice New York strip steak, served with brandy mushroom reduction sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli florets; and a festive ‘2020’ strawberry cheesecake parfait for dessert. McCall’s Heartland Grill will offer a New Year’s Eve dinner priced at $65 per person. The dinner includes a Caesar salad, made with hearts of romaine, house-made creamy garlic dressing, toasted herb croutons, and parmigiano Reggiano; a 12-ounce Ribeye served with rosemary mashed potatoes, sautéed broccolini, grilled green onions and shallots; and a New Year’s chocolate duet, a selection of decadent chocolate creations. Crafted Buffet will serve a New Year’s Eve seafood buffet, priced at $34.99 per person, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. The buffet will include snow crab, assorted seafood sushi rolls, seafood paella, mussels Fra Diavolo and New York strip steak.
The contemporary new REMIX Lounge, located on the main casino floor, will host a celebration with live performances by Radio Rave from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and DJ Enoc from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
