|New Restaurant – Sassella
The owners of Santa Fe fine dining staple, Sazón, are embarking on another culinary journey with the opening of Sassella. Chef Cristian Pontiggia will be presenting dishes from all over Italy in a fine dining atmosphere. The bar will feature gins from around the world as well as amaros and vermouths from Italy. There will also be an extensive wine list featuring wines from Italy. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner and is slated to open in June 2019 next door to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. New Restaurant – Jimmy D’s
Jimmy D’s, Santa Fe’s newest diner opened May 2019, is an all-day restaurant, serving food reflective of American cuisine and traditional comfort food. The restaurant’s name is a nod to owners Jimmy and Jennifer Day’s appreciation for classic American diners. Interior design by Jennifer Day will take guests back in time to the 1960’s and 1970’s with nostalgic tributes decorating the walls. The restaurant is located three blocks from the end of the Santa Fe trail in the heart of Santa Fe at Garrett’s Desert Inn. Menu highlights include fried chicken & waffles, pulled pork cakes and fried peanut butter & jelly. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
New Restaurant – Lucky Goat
Lucky Goat is an Asian noodle house opening in downtown Santa Fe in June 2019. Lucky Goat will offer
creative, freshly made noodles, dumplings, and broths. The restaurant’s chef duo, Dale Kester and Marques Jackson, have trained in some of the best kitchens in New York City and Portland, Oregon, and bring this level of excellence and innovation to this casual, inspired venue. The wine, beer and sake list is
personally, curated by maître d/sommelier Micaela Maestas, and offers carefully chosen libations to
complement the exotic flavors of the menu. Interior design by Jennifer Day will reflect an Asian-inspired theme. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
