Executive Chef Beau MacMillan will delight diners with elegant holiday meals enjoyed among spectacular Valley views, and visitors can linger longer with a host of festive travel package offers.
Whether booking a private mountainside villa for the whole family or a lavish suite or casita, Sanctuary guests will feel at home for the holidays with holiday specials available for booking by Dec. 1, 2019:
· All Is Calm: Restore tranquility during the busiest season of the year and receive breakfast daily plus a $50 daily resort credit toward spa or dining when guests stay two nights or more. Offer valid for select dates between Nov. 14, 2019 through Jan. 7, 2020.
· Elevate the Holidays: Take holiday entertaining to the next level with a stay in a spectacular mountainside villa with ample room for stress-free entertaining. The package includes a $500 resort credit and a festive welcome basket and is available Nov. 14, 2019 through Jan. 7, 2020.
· Holiday Bonus: Extend the holidays with a seventh night free plus a one-time $250 resort credit. Offer valid for select dates between Dec. 29, 2019 and Jan. 9, 2020.
On Thanksgiving Day, guests can choose between a four-course, prix-fixe menu at elements, Sanctuary’s signature restaurant, or a generous buffet at The Views Ballroom. In addition to a Traditional Turkey Dinner with chestnut stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry apple relish and giblet gravy, a sampling of the menu choices at elements include Filet of Beef with gratin potatoes, green beans almondine, black truffle demi and bearnaise; Garlic & Brioche Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with purple potatoes, asparagus & cipollini onion ragu, candied pancetta and cherry garlic glaze; and Pumpkin Spice Crème Brulee with pepita brittle and brown butter shortbread. Available from 12 to 8 p.m., Thanksgiving dinner at elements is $115 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
The Thanksgiving buffet at The Views Ballroom will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $105 per person, plus tax and gratuity. For both meals, children ages 6-12 dine for $35, and those ages five years and under dine free.
On Christmas Day, guests will enjoy a festive four-course, prix-fixe dinner with a side of breathtaking mountain views at elements. Entrée highlights include Roasted Free-Range Guinea Hen with celery root puree, savory wild rice, rosemary and cipollini onion jus; Atlantic Swordfish “Au Poivre” with creamed spinach, butternut squash puree and maple green peppercorn demi; and Bacon Wrapped Filet of Beef with roasted garlic and blue cheese crust, black truffle mash, grilled asparagus and sauce bearnaise. Dinner is served from 12 to 8 p.m. and priced at $115 per person, plus tax and gratuity. It is $35 for children ages six to 12, and complimentary for those ages five and younger.
New Year’s Eve
Guests can ring in 2020 with a sophisticated sit-down affair at elements or celebrate the end of the decade at Scottsdale’s biggest New Year’s Eve party at jade bar. Presenting a four-course, prix-fix menu by Chef MacMillan, elements will offer two seating times. The first will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is priced at $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The second seating takes place from 8 to 10 p.m. and is priced at $195 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Meanwhile at jade bar, the New Year’s Eve dance party begins at 9:30 p.m. and goes on until 1:30 a.m., complete with a dancefloor and live music that is sure to keep people dancing all night. Priced at $1,200 for a table of four, $1,800 for a table of six and $3,000 for a table of ten, the Dinner Package includes a four-course, prix-fixe holiday menu and bottles of Dom Perignon Champagne (one bottle for four guests, two bottles for six guests and three bottles for 10 guests). Tax and gratuity are additional, and space is limited.
