Comroe’s career leaped from the stage to the screen during his television debut on popular comedian Conan O’Brien’s cable show, “Conan,” as well as an appearance on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” with Kevin Hart. Comroe has won two high-profile comedy competitions, Ricky Gervais’ “Just Sayin’ App” contest and The San Francisco Comedy Competition.
Popular for the tagline, “I’ve got 99 problems, but a twitch ain’t one,” Comroe spotlights his life with Tourette Syndrome with relatable and comical impressions in his routine, aimed to help break down stereotypes.
“I’ve been performing at the L.A. Comedy Club since I was 21,” says Comroe. “A decade later, it’s a dream come true to have a residency in the Entertainment Capital of the World.”
“We were all pulling for Sam each week when he was on ‘America’s Got Talent.’ We even stopped the show a few times to have the audience vote,” said Joaquin Trujillo, L.A. The L.A. Comedy Club has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors alike since 2007. Housed in The STRAT’s 160-seat Dragon Room, the L.A. Comedy Club was dubbed “the younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine and has won several awards.
The club’s nightly, three-show lineup includes Redneck Comedy Magic at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday; rotating selection of headliners nightly at 8 p.m.; comedian Butch Bradley at 10 p.m. Friday through Tuesday; and comedian Marsha Warfield at 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
