ISTANBUL SHOPPING FEST 2017 TO FEATURE FASHION SHOWS, DESIGNER WORKSHOPS, LATE NIGHT SHOPPING, AND UNMATCHABLE DISCOUNTS FOR GLOBAL LUXURY BRANDS

The seventh annual internationally acclaimed Istanbul Shopping Fest dates have been set for July 1-16, 2017. Aiming to be one of the largest and most exciting shopping events in the world, travelers will have the chance to experience fashion shows, designer workshops, late night shopping and unmatchable discounts of up to 70 percent for global luxury brands, all while taking in the unique cultural aura of the city.

For the first time, the festival will add a new theme – “Design Zones” – that will present Turkish and foreign designers and events.

Guests can take in the spirit of the festival in every corner of Istanbul by going to one of the 120 modern shopping centers spread around the city, checking out the lively streets like Bağdat Street, İstiklal Street and Nişantaşı, exploring the 500-year-old Grand Bazaar or hunting for handmade items by local designers and craftsmen in lesser visited areas of the city.

Shoppers will be able to find bargains on an extraordinary variety of purchases from spices and valuable antiques to the latest fashions, electronics and more. Foreign visitors are also entitled to tax-free shopping.

Under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Governor of Istanbul, the Istanbul Shopping Fest represents a fascinating window into the lifestyle of Istanbul culture where shopping is an art form. In addition to round-the-clock shopping, there will be street festivals, concerts, dances, parties, kids’ events and sweepstakes.
