LAS VEGAS ( BEER PARK at Paris Las Vegas will kick off Derby Day with a rooftop Kentucky Derby viewing party and a tailgate-style twist on a Bluegrass favorite all day on Saturday, May 6.
BEER PARK will show the 143rd running of the Derby on dozens of high-definition TVs throughout the venue. Betting on the most exciting two minutes in sports will be available at BEER PARK’s recently introduced an in-house sportsbook, one of just a few places in Las Vegas outside of casino sports books to offer live betting. The kiosk is manned by a Paris sportsbook employee, and has all of the capabilities of a full-sized sportsbook.
Exclusively for Derby Day, BEER PARK will offer the Kentucky Hot Brown, a twist on the traditional favorite made with shaved oven-roasted turkey, aged Kentucky ham, Mornay sauce, parmesan cheese and tomato, sandwiched between two slices of toasted bread. The venue will also offer a special on mint juleps.
In the spirit of the race, staff will encourage guests to dress in their Derby best. Those who choose to participate will receive a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne to sip.
Additionally, BEER PARK will host patrons at the Kentucky Derby with a pop-up outpost at Churchill Downs for the day. The BEER PARK branded trailer will be parked at the derby and feature two dozen of BEER PARK’s signature beer selections.
