SET FOR SEPTEMBER 18-20, 2015
AT THE DEL MAR RACETRACK & FAIRGROUNDS IN DEL MAR (SAN DIEGO)
With the line-up for the inaugural KAABOO Del Mar set to be announced in late February, organizer HorsePower Entertainment has announced that a limited number of pre-sale weekend passes will go on sale February 1. The initial pre-sale will include a $199 GA weekend pass, along with the VIP “Hang Five” weekend pass available at $699, for the September 18-20, 2015 event at the world-famous Del Mar Racetrack & Fairgrounds in Del Mar (San Diego), CA.
KAABOO Del Mar is a three-day experience of music, entertainment, visual art, and culinary exploration. Just steps away from the Pacific Ocean and situated within a few hours of all major Southern California cities, KAABOO Del Mar is creating a weekend that will appeal to sophisticated concert-goers looking for a fully immersive experience.
On the entertainment side, KAABOO Del Mar will feature a curated musical line-up encompassing a variety of musical stylings, appealing to a multi-generational audience. The kaleidoscope of musical acts and nationally known comedians appearing at KAABOO Del Mar will appear on seven stages, including a fully-integrated Comedy Club performance space.
On the culinary side, KAABOO Del Mar will offer food and beverage choices beyond your typical festival fare. This enhanced approach will include pairings from local, high quality restaurants featuring celebrity and local chefs; wine selections from vineyards throughout California; craft beer from breweries in top markets including San Diego; craft distillers in various categories; mixologists and more.
“As we finalize our line-up for this special weekend, we wanted to give music fans an early chance to join us for KAABOO Del Mar,” says KAABOO founder and CEO Bryan Gordon. “Those who come out to the inaugural KAABOO are going to be in for something spectacular.”
Details about additional VIP offerings, add-on options for lodging, transportation and a variety of additional amenities will be revealed in the coming months.
In addition, $1 from each pass purchased will go to the “KINDNESS” charity program, created by KAABOO organizers benefitting four local charities. The funds raised will be divided equally among the charity partners for support of programs directly impacting the local San Diego community. When purchasing passes, guests will be given the option of donating additional funds, with KAABOO matching each donation, dollar for dollar. The initial “KINDNESS” partners include: Feeding America San Diego (feedingamericasd.org), San Diego Music Foundation (sandiegomusicfoundation.org), and Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter (www.surfridersd.org), with one additional charity partner to be announced.
